Serretia® Supports

Bone and Joint Health

How it Works

Serretia operates by breaking down excessive proteins, including fibrin and injured tissue, that accumulate in the body due to overexertion. This enzymatic action focuses on digesting these proteins to facilitate the natural healing process.

The Impact

Unlike many treatments that only mask the symptoms associated with overexertion, systemic enzymes like Serretia offer a more fundamental solution. By supporting the breakdown of detrimental proteins, Serretia helps ensure a normal recovery time and enhances the body's overall healing capabilities, providing active individuals with a significant improvement in post-exertion recovery.

Lung and Sinus Function

How it Works

Mucus is an important substance produced within the respiratory system. Serretia supports normal mucus levels by breaking down mucin, the protein that contributes to the thickness and stickiness of mucus. This enzymatic activity helps maintain normal mucus viscosity.

The Impact

By supporting normal mucus viscosity, Serretia may be a great addition for those suffering from respiratory conditions characterized by excessive or thick mucus production. By normalizing the consistency of mucus, Serretia may ease its clearance from the airways, supporting normal airway patency, breathing, and mucus buildup.

Healthy Scar Tissue Formation

How it Works

Serretia aids in the normal processing and breakdown of non-living tissue and excess fibrin. This activity is crucial in maintaining normal levels of swelling and inflammation, which are common responses to physical stress or injury.

The Impact

The effective breakdown of unhealthy tissue by Serretia may not only improve recovery times but also lead to smoother, less noticeable scars. These benefits are particularly valuable during the rehabilitation process, enhancing both functional and aesthetic outcomes following injuries or surgical procedures.

Ingredients
Serrapeptase

A proteolytic (protein digesting) enzyme with potent fibrinolytic activity. It has been shown to support healthy sinus activity and promote a normal inflammatory response to overexertion.

Serrapeptase (AKA Serratiopeptidase) was discovered as scientists were studying silkworms and their ability to break down silk cocoons. They found that the silkworm excreted an enzyme that was responsible for breaking down the silk. As they looked further into the enzyme, they found a specific type of bacteria within the silkworm that was producing the enzyme, now referred to as Serratia E-15.

Serratia E-15 is used during the manufacturing process of serrapeptase today. Silkworms are not used in the production of serrapeptase, they were simply how the enzyme was discovered.

FAQs
Why should I take Serretia?

Serretia helps to speed recovery after sports injuries, surgeries, muscle tears and pulls, as well as promote healthy sinus activity.

Can I take too much of serrapeptase?

Although Serretia contains highly potent serrapeptase, it can be safely incorporated into your supplement regimen. There have been no serious adverse events reported from the use of Serretia. However, it is important to follow dosage instructions unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.

Is Serretia enteric coated?

Enteric coatings are designed to protect enzymes and other supplements from stomach acid. Plastic-like chemicals known as phthalates are often used in this coating process. Phthalates are actually banned in children's toys in Europe and Mexico, so why would we ever include these in our formulas?

Arthur Andrew Medical instead utilizes an all-natural, chemical-free acid armor capsule. These capsules are comprised of an extra-thick layer of cellulose (vegetable capsules) with a micro-threaded locking mechanism to prevent leaking. Acid Armor capsules have been designed to delay the release of the capsule's contents for up to an hour, without the use of potentially harmful chemicals.

When is the best time to take Serretia?

For best results, take the product at least one hour prior to eating and/or two hours after a meal.

Is Serretia Kosher?

The product is certified Kosher by Star-K, and a copy of the
certification is available by request.

Is Serretia vegetarian-friendly?

The formula is vegetarian in accordance with the guidelines of the AMERICAN VEGETARIAN ASSOCIATION.

Is Serretia non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organism)?

Yes, Serretia is non-GMO. The microorganisms used to produce this enzyme product are not genetically engineered organisms as defined by the NATIONAL ORGANIC STANDARDS BOARD.

Genetically engineered is defined as follows: Made with techniques that alter the molecular or cellular biology of an organism by means that are not possible under natural conditions or processes. Genetic engineering includes recombinant DNA, cell fusion, micro-and macro-encapsulation, gene deletion and doubling, introducing a foreign gene, and changing the position of genes. It shall not include breeding, conjugation, fermentation, hybridization, in-vitro fertilization, and tissue culture.

Further testing is also conducted to determine whether any common GMO material is present in the product. A copy of the lab analysis can be available upon request.
